    Bouncing Castle
(Charlestown, Nevis) --- On Friday, June, 2 the Ivor Walters Primary School hosted its Annual Fair and Tea Party at the school grounds in Brown Hill Village.

The festivities began at 1:00 p.m. and included live music from Recklife System featuring DJ "Old Darg", a light lunch, bouncing castle, confectionary stall, vegetable stall, a variety of games including videogames, bar, lucky dip, darts, dominoes and ice cold drinks.

The tea party began at 4:00 p.m. and was hosted by the school's Grade 2 teacher, Ms. C. Liburd, parent Ms. Ercia Dore and school affiliate Ms. Patricia Thompson.

The tea party featured a wide variety of confectionary products such as coconut cake, carrot cake, sponge cake, cinnamon rolls, raisin rolls, as well as salmon and cheese sandwiches, tuna puffs, baked chicken and fruit wedges.

Live steel pan music was provided for the tea party by local pannists Rohan Didier and Lee-Roy Parris Jr.  According to school officials the tea Party was a tremendous success despite the fact that planning began late.

"The highlights of the Fair were the art and craft display which showcased the children's work in art and craft and highlighted their talent.                                                                                        ~~Adz:Right~~

"The children's skills were on display and I think that the effort can only be described as commendable in the short time frame", said Mr. Wilroy Gerald, Vice Principal of the Ivor Walters Primary School.
He continued, "The Tea Party was another highlight of the fair  - its ambiance was spectacular. The tea party committee came in for high commendation from partakers of the tea.  It was executed in a relaxing atmosphere with live steel band music in the background and I think that added attraction to the proceedings."

In ending the interview Mr. Gerald commended the "very hard working"  tea party committee which was headed by Patricia Thompson as well as the members of the general public who made a contribution to the tea party which he described as "exquisite ambiance and impeccable service."
