    On Sunday 10th June 2007, while carrying out operations in the Conaree area, officers of the the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and Defence Force discovered seventy (70) cannabis plants being grown on a plot of land.

     

     

     

    The plants ranged from seedling to three (3) feet in height and had a street value of approximately $5,000.00 E.C.

     

     

     

    A further search of the area led to a house where a number of cannabis plants were found drying on a line inside of an abandoned building.

    No one has been charged in connection with any of the findings.

     

    Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the St. Peters area at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Monday 11th June 2007, where a twenty-one year old male of the said area was shot in his leg.

     

     

     

    Investigations are ongoing and police are requesting that person(s) with information relevant to the investigation of this incident, to contact the Stapleton Police Station at 465-2418 or the Criminal Investigations Department at 465-2241 Extension 220 / 230 / 236 and they can do so anonymously.
