The People’s Action Movement wishes to take this opportunity to extend heartfelt condolences to the family of The Hon. Malcolm Guishard.
We were shocked to hear of the sudden and unfortunate passing this morning of a man who we considered to be a colleague and friend. Malcolm was a sterling public servant who devoted his extensive career to the development of the people of Nevis as well as the Federation as a whole.
He served his constituents in the Electoral District, Nevis 9 St. Paul and St. John in the Federal Parliament as well as those of St. Johns in the Nevis Island Government with dedication and professionalism that earned him the respect of his peers and the public at home and abroad. His loss will be deeply felt not only here at home but also in the region at large.
