When The Hon. Richard Skerritt issued a challenge to locals to become innovative and create an entertaining atmosphere like the Sunday of the Music Festival, Hazel Jeffers, owner of Party N Style thought of a ‘fun’ event to attract huge crowds.
She has unveiled plans to stage a Kidz Fest, geared particularly towards young children between the age of one and fifteen. It is Hazel’s view that the kidzFestival would be the ideal opportunity to cater towards this target group. Sentiments have often been expressed about teens and adults being the ones to savor the musical treat of the festival and too few artistes cater to these youngsters.
Confirmed to perform is Dora the Explorer along with Diego, Sponge Bob, Back Yardians and Bratz who are all favorites of this target audience. It is anticipated that parents, guardians and many adults will also want to be a part of the action. One can expect exhilarating performances as these characters boast a wide repertoire of songs. This event comes off on Sunday, 24th June, 2007 at the Cable and Wireless Grounds from 1pm to 4 pm.
