Some of the local artistes that will be performing on the 11th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival had their rehearsal disrupted last night when a young girl said she was chased by a man armed with a gun.

A source told SKNVibes.com that the rehearsal was held at the Basseterre High School Auditorium where the artistes were rehearsing with the Royaltiez Band when a young girl around 15-years-old, ran into the auditorium in a state of screams of fright.                                                                                                               ~~Adz:Right~~

The young girl who was at her dance rehearsal at the auditorium said that she went outside for a drink of water and was approached by the man who tried to grab her but she ran away.

The man then began to chase her with the alleged gun in his hand and she ran into the auditorium.

Up to press time the reason why the young girl was approached by the man is unknown.

The incident occurred at around 9 p.m.

The police arrived at the scene and took a statement from the young girl and drove around the premises with the girl looking for the man.

The police told SKNVibes.com that a report on the incident will be given out later in a subsequent press release.
