~~Adz:Left~~ If you are an exemplary young man or woman between the ages sixteen (16) through thirty-five (35) who has devoted his or herself to a legacy of Scholarship, Leadership and Service within your community or nationally, the Liamuiga Youth Legacy Awards Association invites you to submit an entry to be among the three young men and three young women selected as the 2007 Liamuiga Youth Legacy Award Winners.
The Liamuiga Youth Legacy Awards Association is an Honour Society that recognizes young people who have been exemplary citizens of St. Kitts. The Association is seeking outstanding, well rounded young individuals who are agents of change and who have contributed to the development of their respective communities and to St. Kitts.
Interested persons are asked to submit a written biography, highlighting his or her academic/scholarly achievements, leadership roles, societal contributions and future plans OR complete the LYLAA application form available at the Department of Youth on Church Street Basseterre or the Charles Halbert Public Library. Applicants are also asked to write a brief article on an issue affecting young people in St. Kitts and tell how he or she intends to play a role in alleviating this problem for further information you may contact Ms. Teslyn Simmonds at 664-4261 or email teslyns@hotmail.com.
Submissions should be sent to the Department of Youth no later than 4:00 pm. Friday 20th July 2007.
