BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – DIGICEL, ‘The Bigger Better Network’, presented an EC$5 000 cheque to the St. Kitts & Nevis Amateur Athletic Association (SKNAAA) in sponsorship of tomorrow’s annual National Invitational Track and Field Championship.

The presentation was made yesterday (June 17) at the telecommunications service provider’s outlet, The Cell, in Fort Street, Basseterre, where Digicel’s Marketing Manager Marsha Lindo handed over the cheque to the SKNAAA’s Public Relations Officer, Evris Huggins.

Speaking with the media, Lindo said, “I am happy to make this presentation to SKNAAA for the National Invitational Championship this Father’s Day. We are very excited to be onboard and extend our promotions including ‘Race for Cash’ and ‘Quick Fingers’ at this weekend’s championship.”

Huggins, on behalf of the Athletic Association, thanked Digicel for the donation and called for a longstanding relationship between the two entities.

He assured Lindo that Sunday’s championship would be eventful and promised that the meet would exceed all expectations.
