(Basseterre; St. Kitts):  Charity does indeed begin at home- the Children’s Home that is. The old adage was once again proven true by the Chief Executive Officer of Party in Style and Kidz Connection, Ms. Hazel Jeffers, as she made a very thoughtful charitable gesture to the Children’s Home, over the last weekend.

Jeffers was not only able to get two very popular children’s characters- Sponge Bob and Diego- to visit the residents of the Children’s Home, but she was also able to collaborate with Domino’s Pizza to present them with some delicacies.
According to Jeffers, who is also a primary school teacher, Domino’s Pizza saw one of her promotions and expressed interest in joining with her.
The kids at the home were quite overjoyed to experience a welcomed change in daily routines as they not only enjoyed the pizzas from the world famous Domino’s franchise but also enjoyed mingling with the characters.
When asked about what inspired her to work with the Children’s Home, Jeffers noted that she felt compelled to as her deceased mother, Mrs. Froncille Jeffers, was once the matron of the Children’s Home.
Prior to reaching the Children’s Home, the two characters, as well as Ms. Jeffers and some other ~~Adz:Right~~  friends, were part of a mini- motorcade in the Big Banana safari.
The two characters were on island to be part of the Hazel’s Kidz Festival, at the Cable and Wireless Grounds, over the Music Festival weekend. It featured Songe Bob, Dora, Diego, Brats and Bakyardian.
Ms. Jeffers’ charitable gesture has received much positive reviews.
