Basseterre: St. Kitts – Today in an unprecedented statement Cable & Wireless bmobile announced the introduction of free weekend calling on all post-paid packages. “We are making an unequivocal public gesture to reward our loyal customers for the commitment and confidence they have placed in us. In recent times a few of you have hinted a disproportionate distribution of ‘rewards’ across our two main service types: pre-paid and postpaid. In our relentless effort to deliver value across our plans we are now offering free calling from bmobile to other bmobile phones as well as calls from bmobile to Cable & Wireless fixed lines all weekend long,” announced Chief Executive, Patricia Walters.
Commenting on what was required for subscription to the service, Walters added, “all bmobile postpaid customers qualify. No application or further action is needed on the customer’s part; the feature will be automatically activated on the account at no additional charge to the customer. The Chief Executive went on to say that this new development was part of an exciting ongoing review of current packages in an effort to respond to customer needs and ensure bmobile remains the leader in offering a unique value proposition to the market place.
The Company took the opportunity to remind customers that the postpaid service is more convenient for many active customers as it does not require subscribers to “top up” when in need of additional credit. Post paid accounts also come with “inclusive plan minutes” with the monthly packages for a flat monthly fee. There is only a need to pay more than the plan fee when customers exceed the minutes in their package. Postpaid customers typically earn ‘Reward Points’ monthly based on a number of variables including the type of plan and usage levels. These ‘Reward Points’ can then be later used to purchase new handsets and accessories if the customer so desires.
