Von Michael Martin

Mr. Von Michael A. Martin of Bird Rock, graduated with Upper Second Class Honours with a BA (Hons) degree in Finance from the University of Westminster in London, United Kingdom on July 2^nd, 2007.

During his distinguished tenure at the University of Westminster he pursued a diverse range of modules which included Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, and Economics of Financial Markets (in which he emerged top of the class), and he served as the Executive Secretary of the Evolution Investment Club where he was proactively involved in coordinating the activities, including its virtual trading via an internet based platform.

In the summer of 2006, his exemplary achievements in academics and his outstanding involvement in youth activities were recognized by the Liamigua Youth Legacy Awards Committee when he was highlighted among with other noteworthy peers at the 2006 Awards Ceremony.

Von Michael’s prior academic pursuits included a successful two year stint at the local Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College where he secured passes in all of his chosen modules, including two distinctions, and at which he served as the Vice President and Interim President of the CFB Student Council. Von Michael is a former student of the Basseterre High School where he successfully wrote 9 General Proficiency subjects, attaining four distinctions, as well as a proud past student of the Basseterre Junior High and Newtown Primary Schools.~~Adz:Right~~

Having served for one year as a Customer Service Representative at the St.Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank, Von is grateful for the invaluable training and exposure to the financial services industry which this stint afforded.

Von Michael, an avid basketballer who played for the Bird Rock Uprisers Basketball Team is the first son of Michael Martin and Jacinth Henry-Martin, the older brother of Yanik & Quinn, grandson of Nurse Venetta Henry of Sandy Point and the lateArthur and Ena Martin, formerly of Baker’s Corner, step grandson of Dessie Henry. He extends heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those whose prayers and best wishes supported him in his endeavors.
