An estimated 450 children marched through the streets of Basseterre, on Wednesday July 11th, to proclaim their allegiance to Jesus Christ and to promote religious values.

The” March of Witness” was one of the featured activities for the annual Vacation Bible School of the Antioch Baptist Church, which is celebrating its 41st year of hosting the summer programme.

The children who participated in the march, displayed placards and posters, encouraging others to be witnesses for God.

There was also a float which was the selected avenue to draw attention the omnipotence of the Almighty.

The march was also a fitting way to draw attention to the Gospel Commission, which instructs Christians to “go ye therefore and teach, preach and baptize”.

It also brought fruition to what the Bible says- “a little child shall lead them”.

Pastor Lincoln Connor expressed his gratitude to the missionaries from overseas who have assisted in the hosting of the Vacation Bible School and to the corporate community, including RAMS and OD Brisbane.

The youthful Pastor also extended an invitation to young children to attend the summer programme, which continues for another week next week.
