    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JULY 18TH 2007 (CUOPM) – Cabinet is encouraging property owners to consult the Inland Revenue Department to query genuine situations involving their property tax evaluations.

     

     

     

    Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance, Sustainable Development, Information and Technology, Sen. the Hon. Nigel Carty said following Monday’s Cabinet Meeting that the Government reflected on and discussed the progress of the implementation of the property tax. 

     

     

     

    Mr. Carty reminded persons that they can make arrangements with the Department of Inland Revenue for payment of their taxes in installments over a period of time.

     

     

     

    He said Government wishes to thank all those who have facilitated the work done so far in the property tax evaluation exercise.~~Adz:Right~~
