The Department of Maritime Affairs would like to urge Ferry Passengers traveling to and from Nevis, particularly during the Culturama activities to exercise extreme caution and avoid ferry overloading. By the same token, Ferry Operators must ensure that there is no overloading of their vessels. ~~Adz:Right~~
The Department will endeavour to enforce the relevant laws and invoke due process of law in the event of any contravention of regulations by either passengers or Ferry Operators.
The kind cooperation of all concerned is sought in this most important matter.
