~~Adz:Left~~ Basseterre, St. Kitts, 2nd August, 2007 - Do you have a 1st degree? Do you wish to pursue a Masters but lack the funds to do so? The CARICOM Secretariat and the Government of Italy can assist you in this endeavor.
Two post graduate scholarships are available to citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis. These are courses in The Economics of Tourism and Tourism Management from the IULM University in Milan, Italy. Courses begin in September and November 2007 respectively and will be taught in English.
Interested candidates must be able to afford their own airfare to and from Italy and have at their disposal approximately US$2000.00 for the duration of the course. Candidates must also provide proof of the their first degree to the Human Resource Department at Government Headquarters, Church Street before Friday, 10th August 2007.
Unoma Allen, Corporate Communications Manager at the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, said “These scholarships are opportunities for individuals to advance themselves in the tourism industry and related fields; and at a cost which is substantially less than the standard post graduate fees.”
The mission of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority is to promote the destination of St. Kitts in regional and international markets.
