BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – JUST three days after the shooting-death of Brian ‘DJ Ras Benjie’ Farrell of Shadwell Estate, another young man has died by the hands of one or more scum of the earth who impudently demonstrate that they have no regard for human lives.
Dead is Ricardo ‘Fila’ Pemberton of Old Road who is said to be about 25 years old.
Information reaching this media house states that the incident occurred shortly before 11:00 last night (July 7) in Wingfield Road, Old Road.
According to informed sources, at approximately 10:50 p.m. officers at the Old Road Police Station received a report of a shooting incident in that village.
SKNVibes was told that on arrival at the scene, police found the lifeless body of Pemberton with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigations led to the discovery of a number of items of evidential value at the scene which were taken into police custody for further analysis.
It is not known if any suspect is in police custody at this time; however, more details on this incident in a subsequent publication as information unfolds.
Pemberton’s death has taken the number of homicides committed in the twin-island Federation for this year to 18; 16 on St. Kitts and two on Nevis.
