SKNVibes | Police investigating the shooting death of Dave "Jahman" Browne of Newtown

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Friday 31^st August 2007, police responded to a report in the Newtown area of Basseterre. At George Street, officers met thirty-nine (39) year old Dave “Jahman” Browne of Newtown lying in the street with a wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the District Medical and a post mortem will be performed at a later date to determine the cause of death.

On Thursday 30^th August 2007, Forensic Pathologist Dr. Stephen Jones performed an autopsy on the body of the late Conrad “Yankee” Davis formerly of Basseterre. Dr. Jones reported in his findings that death was caused by a gunshot injury to the head.

The body of Davis was found in side of an abandoned building at the corner of Fort Thomas Road and Lower West Bourne Ghaut on the morning of Tuesday 28^th August 2007.
