78 Races Featured At 20 Plus Athletic Meet

Jean Caines believes a strong nation is built by healthy people. As a result, she beat all odds and staged 20 Plus athletic meet where 78 races were featured. People of all ages and backgrounds participated in the race.
The fun packed race was held at Grove Park on Independence Day. It was sponsored by individuals, institutions and companies. It was the first time the athletic meet was being held on a large scale.
“Get off the coach get on to the track” is the message the race highlights. There were flat races, socks and shoes race, lime and spoon race, sack race among others.
Caines welcomes interested persons to enlist with her group. The group meets to practice every Saturday morning.
The 20 Plus athletic meet was packed with fun.
