Man Pleads Guilty to Stealing tooth paste, tooth brush and shampoo

~~Adz:Right~~ (Basseterre; St. Kitts): One DVD player, one neck chain, one tooth paste, a handbag and tooth brush were among the items Leon Samuel pled guilty to for a House breaking and Larceny charge. The items amounted to a total of EC$3, 288.00 as Samuel was charge with three counts of House breaking and Larceny.
On his second count, he was charged with stealing a gold chain valued at EC$700,00 and on his third count was charged with stealing EC$16.00.
All the items were taken from the home of Mary Barsey of Douglas Commercial.
He is expected to be sentenced on Oct. 1.
Samuel also pled guilty to another charge of house breaking and larceny and was jointly charged with Anthony Phillip.
Prosecutors alleged that on Nov. 29, 2006 the twosome broke into the home of Jervin Thomas at New Road Housing Project and stole several items including a DVD player, discman, gold chain, a baby ring and gold hand chain all to the total of EC$4,900.00.
While Samuel pled guilty to the charge and will receive sentencing on Oct. 1, Phillip pled not guilty and was also charged with Receiving items valuing at EC$2,000.
Phillips case will be tried on Oct. 24.
