Former Ms. Universe and Vice President of Evolving Technologies and Enterprise Development Company Ltd., Ms. Wendy Fitzwilliam
(Port-of-Spain, Trinidad) --- Former Ms. Universe and Vice President of Evolving Technologies and Enterprise Development Company Ltd., Wendy Fitzwilliam has been tipped as one of the potential candidates to replace Diego Martin Central MP Ken Valley.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Fitzwilliam may be one of the ‘new faces’ of the People’s National Movement (PNM) which Prime Minister Patrick Manning made mention of at a PNM political meeting in St. Augustine on Friday.

Wendy Fitzwilliam won the Ms. Universe pageant in 1998 and was later honored by the United Nations with the UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador based on her work in the field of HIV/AIDS.

She also holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from the University of the West Indies.

Allegedly the screening committee for the PNM rejected Valley who is the currently MP for Diego Martin making a call for new candidates.

While on Thursday Valley was screened as the lone candidate for Diego Martin Central at the Balisier House, Port-of-Spain he was cut out on Friday after Prime Minister Patrick Manning announced the General Election date as November 5th, 2007.

While no official announcement has been made on alleged Fitzwilliam’s candidacy, on Saturday members of the People’s National Movement (PNM) will converge in Woodford Square, Port-of-Spain on Saturday to present its new faces of candidates.
