    Island Rhythms on Fort Street
    (Basseterre; St. Kitts):
The Police are investigating the circumstances of a scuffle that has left a man in his mid fifties, Ernish Emmanuel Weekes, of the Challenger’s area, dead. The incident occurred on Sunday night, October 15th.

According to a Police report, they responded to a report of wounding and upon their arrival at the scene they discovered Weekes lying motionless in a chair, with a wound to the left side of his chest.

The District Medical Officer was summoned to the scene and he pronounced Weekes dead, at a quarter to eleven.

Unconfirmed reports state that a female is assisting the Police with their investigations into the incident.

Another incident being investigated by the Police is the apparent abduction of a business man before robbing his business place, early on Friday morning, 12th October.

It is alleged that Mr. Havanah Llewellyn, a resident of Leeward Cove, Frigate Bay, was confronted by three masked men while he exited rental car, R246. The masked gunmen then bounded his hands behind his back with plastic binders, and then took him to an unknown location.~~Adz:Right~~

From there, the perps took Llewellyn to his business place, Island Rhythms, Fort Street, Basseterre, where they forced him to open the vault, then proceeded to rob the establishment. A huge sum of money was stolen.

It was reported that Llewellyn’s abductors left him bound in Island Rhythms while they fled the scene with the loot. He was, however, able to free himself and reported the incident to the Police.

Unconfirmed reports state that the rental vehicle was found somewhere in the Shadwell area. The Police have since seized the vehicle as they continue their investigations.

The Police continue to appeal to the general public to assist them in their efforts to curb crime and violence by providing whatever useful information they may have.
