At about 2:00 pm on 16th October 2007, Joseph ‘Capleton’ Charles of Sandy Point who escaped police custody on October 9th, surrendered himself at the Basseterre Police Station, accompanied by his lawyer.
He was arrested and formally charged for escaping lawful custody. Charles will appear before the court shortly.
