Five bills for debate in National Assembly on Wednesday
~~Adz:Left~~BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 23RD 2007 (CUOPM) - Five bills will be debated when the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly meets on Wednesday.
The bills, which will also be introduced and given their first readings at Wednesday’s sitting are The Education (Amendment) Bill, 2007, which stands in the name of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Hon. Sam Condor; The Legal Profession Bill, 2007, The Divorce (Amendment) Bill, 2007 and The Protection of Lay-out Designs (Topographies of Integrated Circuits) Bill, 2007, in the name of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs; The Precursor Chemicals Bill, 2007 in the name of the Minister of National Security, Hon. Dwyer Astaphan and The Public Pounds (Amendment) Bill, 2007, which stands in the name of the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Cedric Liburd.
The Meeting of the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly begins at 10:00 A.M.
