Ellis Chanderton, Owner Scuba Safaris ltd and Vaden Jones, General Manager, Oualie Beach Resort
Charlestown, Nevis: Ellis Chanderton owner/operator Scuba Safaris Ltd and Vaden Jones, General Manager, Oualie Beach Resort will join more than 11,000 professionals who will gather in Orlando, Florida, October 31 - November 3 at DEMA (Diving Equipment and Marketing Association) Show.

Chanderton and Jones will combine business, education and diving and discover the treasure of DEMA Show 2007.  DEMA Show 2007 is the only international trade event for the diving, action water sports and adventure travel industries.

At the DEMA Show there will be more than 650 exhibits featuring the leading dive equipment manufacturers, travel destinations, water sports apparel, and services. Sponsored seminars on state-of-the industry topics will be held at the show.
    .
The DEMA Retailer Resource Centre -- an interactive display area and educational program will provide retailers with the latest tools and industry best practices.

A unique feature at DEMA is the premier industry-networking event of 2007, the DEMA Awards Party and the exciting after-hours socializing and networking opportunities that Orlando offers.

~~Adz:Right~~ According to Jones, their participation at DEMA will enable them to sell Nevis as a diving destination.  Scuba Safaris, the only diving operation in Nevis is located on Oaulie Beach Resort property.

At the moment, Chaderton explained, most of the divers come as individuals.  “Participating at DEMA 2007 will enable us to tap into the dive market.”  Jones and Chaderton hope to create awareness among dive travel wholesalers.

Statistics suggest that not many divers visit Nevis but Jones is convinced that many group divers will consider Nevis a possible destination should Nevis be marketed at DEMA 2007.
