    ~~Adz:Left~~Arrests
    On 22nd of October at about 10:49 a.m, Jahdel Browne of Upper Monkey Hill was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, he was later released on bail, and is expected
    to appear in court shortly.

     

    At about 11:00 a.m on the 22nd of October, police formally charged Calvin Gumbs of Parry Village for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, he was also released on bail, and is expected to appear in court shortly.
     

    Convictions
    On Monday 22nd October a sixteen (16) year old male from John England Village was convicted for riding a Bicycle Carelessly. He was placed on a curfew from 7:00 p.m to 6:00 a.m daily and in
    addition was placed on probation for six (6) months in the sum of $1000.00. The juvenile’s mother was also ordered to pay compensation of $500.00 to the complainant or serve fourteen (14) days hard labor.

     

    On Monday 22nd October at the Basseterre Juvenile Court, a sixteen (16) year male from Irish Town Bay Road was convicted for the offence of carrying abroad an offence weapon to wit a knife. The juvenile was placed on bond in the sum of $1,500.00 and was ordered to attend Project Strong daily and punctually. In addition, the sixteen (16) year old is to observe a curfew from 7:00 p.m to 6 a.m daily.

     

    Marijuana Plants uprooted
    On Monday 22nd October at about 2:00 p.m the Police uprooted thirty-three (33) marijuana plants ranging from seedlings to two feet in height in the Conaree area.
    The plants were taken into police custody, no one was arrested, and investigations are ongoing.

     

    At about 6:00 a.m the Police on Nevis uprooted forty-four (44) marijuana plants in the Hermitage area. The plants ranged in height from 1 to 2 feet.  No arrest was made.The plants were taken into police custody and investigations continue.
