Basseterre, St. Kitts – The Prime Minister of St Kitts& Nevis, Dr. the Honourable Denzil L. Douglas attended the launch of the Poolside Residences of the Ocean’s Edge project on Thursday 28th July. The official launch of the Poolside Residences, the next phase of development on the Ocean’s Edge resort, took place on Thursday the 28th July.
We were greatly honoured to have the attendance of the Prime Minister, Dr The Honourable Denzil Douglas, Government Ministers, Representatives from the St Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank (SKNANB), Cable Bay Hotel Development Corporation (CBHDC), local business partners and sales agents from the island and abroad.
The Poolside Residences will form the centre point of the Ocean’s Edge project, and the accommodation will comprise of studio, one and two bedroom apartments with lovely views of the swimming pool and some with ocean views. The new Residences will make up the hotel complex on the resort, adding considerably to the availability of high end accommodation in St Kitts, which will continue to boost tourism to the island.Prices of the new Residences start from €370,000. These units are set to provide an excellent income for purchasers buying for investment.
Sales Manager, Simon Octave, was MC for the event and expressed his pride in promoting and selling property at Ocean’s Edge. Simon’s family originate from St Lucia and he has experience of high end properties sales on that island and we are delighted that he has brought this sales knowledge to our project. Simon was delighted to have the opportunity to invite Dr The Honourable Denzil L. Douglas to speak.
Dr Douglas stressed the importance of the development of the Ocean’s Edge project to the on-going tourism infrastructure on the island. He also lauded the launch of the Poolside Residences as a clear signal that the global and Kittitian economies are recovering. He shared our enthusiasm for developing a high end project which provides employment for local people during construction and this will be on going once the properties are ready for rental.
Also in attendance was Pauline Bonanni, Managing Director of Select Resorts, an associate office of Savills International, which is the global managing agent for the Ocean’s Edge project.
Ms Bonanni was keen to stress that this next phase of development, Phase 3, is likely to sell very quickly, with Phases 1 and 2 already sold out and all the Beachfront Units in Block 9 having been reserved within six months of being launched. She highlightedthe global interest in St Kitts real estate and also the attractive investment opportunity the Residences offer as key reasons for this optimism.

Mr Nick Menon, Director of TDC and CBHDC spoke on behalf of the Development Partners and expressed his firm belief in the continued progress and success of the project and delight in the fact that construction of the Poolside Residences is now commencing, with two blocks being built simultaneously and another following shortly.
Mr Menon thanked the SKNANB bank for their continuous co-operation, all those in sales and marketing, all administration staff and construction workers. All combine to make a great team.
