    New and Old High Court Cases Traversed to the Next Assizes

    ~~Adz:Left~~ (Basseterre; St. Kitts):
      Several old and new matters were traversed to the next assizes at the Basseterre High Court, today Monday Oct. 29. The new assizes is scheduled for January, 15, 2008.
     
    Samuel Caines and Rodney Steinbergen who were separately charged with Indecent Assault had their matters traversed.
     
    Clevorn DeSouza who was charged with wounding with intent and unlawful wounding and Chevis Syder who is facing four counts of crime including two counts of wounding with intent and two counts of unlawful wounding also had his matter traversed.
     
    Juan Fyfield’s case of wounding with intent and unlawful wounding which occurred on January 1, 2007 was traversed and Joshua Roach who was charged with murder will have to wait until the next assizes to have his case heard.
     
    Zephaniah Calboune who was previously charged with Unlawful Carnal Knowledge had his case dismissed also Alphonso James who was charged with Rape and Unlawful Carnal Knowledge had his charges withdrew by the Director of Public Prosecution.
     
    In the case of Shop breaking and larceny involving Leroy Browne, the case was no longer continued as the DPP withdrew the charges.
     

    Steve Sharry also had his case withdrew by the DPP as he was previously charged with House Breaking and Larceny.
