    Another shooting in Conaree; residents “fedup”

    Gun and ammunition recently confiscated by Police
    Basseterre, St. Kitts:
    The volatile community of Conaree, dubbed “Shootersville” by locals, was once again the scene of a senseless shooting incident.
     
    Devon Roberts, a young man in his mid 20’s, was shot four times in his back, on Monday night, October 29th, at approximately 8:30, and is currently being given medical attention at the Joseph N. France General Hospital.
     
    According to reliable sources, the young man, who resides in Conaree, was apparently walking home when an unknown assailant  fired after him six times, catching him in his back four times.
     
    This shooting comes on the heels of a spate (three) of shooting incidents over the weekend of October 19th-22nd.
     
    Angry residents are visibly venting their frustration on the senseless shootings and many are of the view that the there are persons withholding critical information from the Police that will help to solve the shooting cases.

     The Police also continue to implore persons with relevant information to come forward.
