By BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – NEWS coming out of Kingson, Jamaica has indicated that Siccature Alcock, more popularly known as Jah Cure in the reggae scenes tied the knot on Sunday (August 7) with his Rastafarian empress Kamila McDonald at Tryall Clubs in Hanover in their birth country Jamaica.

The wedding was said to be a small one consisting of only close friends and family of the two. Media reports also indicate that the newly wedded couple is expecting a baby.

The couple, who have been an item for the past two years and months appeared royal at their wedding ceremony decked out in matching robes and both wearing kingly crowns on their head.

Jah Cure, who is 32 years old and one of Jamaica’s most notable reggae singers, received his first big break in 1997 when he released ‘King In The Jungle’. He is now known internationally for his profound mind blowing love hits.

He performed in St. Kitts in June for the 15th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival where he pelted out some of  his more famous tracks including ‘Call On Me’, ‘Prison Walls’, ‘Unconditional Love’, ‘Longing For’ and ‘Love Is’.

His wife on the other hand, is also no stranger to the spot light; the 27-year-old is a TV Host/Producer and was a past contestant in the 2009 Miss Jamaica World Pageant, where she made it to the top five selections before the final judging results were in.

The singer recently released a song titled ‘This Is You’ which is dedicated to his wife and relationships on a whole.
