BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - 9th August, 2011: Wicliffe Morris has now resumed his ‘regular beat’ after immersing in a night of fun and frolic at the Rihanna Loud concert last weekend. The Police Officer travelled to Barbados as a guest of LIME, having won VIP tickets in a local promotion to see the performance of Rihanna.
In Barbados, he mixed and mingled with other winners from across the Caribbean, who like him, considered their luck exceptional to have won the coveted LIME prize.
Recounting the Barbados experience when he dropped in to visit LIME staff, Mr Morris was fairly satisfied with the hospitality arrangements, but gave the actual concert maximum marks.
“Rihanna was on fire,” said the unassuming cop. “There were thousands of excited fans in the stadium that created a frenzied atmosphere for the four hours I was there,” he recalled.
“I hope you’ll forgive me for not posting any photos on LIME’s Face Book page as promised, but it was virtually impossible to snap a photo,” he said. He did however manage to post a message at one in the morning saying: “hello St.Kitts right now I’m at the Rihanna concert and the crowd here is crazy.”
Just hours after his return to St. Kitts he resumed his security detail duties still mesmerized by the performance put on by Rihanna. By Tuesday when LIME’s Marketing Manager, Darien Belle, caught up with him, he was the center of a conversation with some of his ranks sharing the vivid details of the weekend gala.
“I want to thank LIME again for affording me this once in a life time opportunity to experience this concert. I will be willing to try my luck again if a similar promotion is offered to customers,” he said glibly. Marketing Manager, Darien Belle said he was happy that the winner had a great time.
“All of our customers can likewise look forward to similar promotions, as we bring the “E” alive in our name,” he assured.
