The course offered by the Ohio State University is an interactive online program developed to challenge and test individuals interested in advancing their knowledge in Golf Course Management.
The program consists of two independent certificate programs. The first program consists of seven modules covering cool and warm season turfgrasses, cultural management practices and turfgrass pests.

Thorne's next step will be the Advanced Certificate in Golf Course Management from the same institution. The Advanced Golf Course Management Certificate builds on the first certificate, and focuses on recognizing, characterizing, and managing turf under environmental stress.
