    ROADTOWN Tortola BVI, August, 12th, 2011 - The Development Planning Unit (DPU) is appealing to members of the public who have not yet taken advantage of the opportunity to be counted in the ongoing Population and Housing Census to telephone the unit at 468-3701 extension 2175 to make arrangements for an interview no later than Thursday, August 18.

     

    Persons can also stop by DPU’s office on the third floor of the east wing in the Central Admin Building, Monday to Friday between 8:30a.m. and 4:30p.m. The survey takes approximately 30-45 minutes.

     

    The public is reminded that in accordance with Section 15(3) (b) of the Statistics Act, 2005, “Any person who refuses or neglects to fill up or otherwise supply particulars of information in any schedule or form prescribed under the authority of this Act... commits an offense and shall, on summary conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding $3,000 and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months.”
