~~Adz:Left~~ Basseterre, St. Kitts, 7th November, 2007 - A chance for travel agents to win fabulous prizes and experience the boundless natural beauty of the un spoilt twin-island destination, of St. Kitts-Nevis is set to take off at World Travel Market (WTM) in London, United Kingdom (UK).
A unique marketing initiative spare headed by the St. Kitts Tourism Authority’s office in the UK will benefit a number of Tourism stakeholders on St. Kitts-Nevis who have donated their services and/or products to be placed in pool of prizes.
These include return flights to St. Kitts from London, stays at a variety of hotels, rainforest hikes, horseback riding tours, island tours, dinning opportunities, tickets for the Annual St. Kitts Music Festival, a tour aboard the Caribbean’s only ‘Sugar Train’, and lots more. To date over 25 tourism related businesses on St. Kitts and Nevis have stepped forward to give their support.
Travel Agents will have to answer simple questions on the destination and/or the businesses that are participating in this competition to be eligible.
By so doing they will be driven to the relevant websites and other resource avenues to source their answers. Jennifer Hensley of the Tourism Office in the UK said, “we are doing this to create a greater awareness of the destination in the market place and for the travel agents to get the chance to experience St. Kitts and Nevis in their free time. They in turn will be better able to offer our destination to their clients.”
This competition will be running consecutively, over a period eight months.
