Business Update – Let us help curb crime!

By: Jenise Ferlance, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AS the crime rate continues to spiral out of control, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce intensified its efforts to lend a helping hand by making recommendations to assist in the crime fighting battle.

The Chamber yesterday, after noting that the escalation in violent crime has reached crisis point, made a strong appeal to the government to accept the recommendation of civil society bodies.

These bodies have been asking that the Regional Security System (RSS) be brought in to assist the local security forces in taking back the streets from the criminal insurgents while the Anti-Crime Initiatives, which were announced by the government, are being implemented.

On that note, SKNVibes presents its weekly business update.
