~~Adz:Left~~The following convictions and sentences were handed down at the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court on Monday 19th November 2007.
Ketto Willock of Lime Kiln was convicted for the offence of Battery and was fined two-hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) in 14 days or serve two weeks at Her Majesty’s Prison if defaulted. The offence was committed on 13th November 2007.
Calvert Phillip of Buckleys Estate was convicted for the offence of Battery and fined two-hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) to be paid in one month or one month in prison if he fails to pay. The offence was committed on 9th March 2007.
ARRESTS
On Tuesday 20th November 2007, police arrested and charged Austin Hendrickson of Hickman Village, Gingerland, Nevis, for the offence of Indecent assault. The offence occurred on 19th November 2007 at Fenton Hill, Nevis.
Dennis James of Franklands, Old Road, was arrested and charged for the offence of Unlawful Possession. The offence took place in the Frigate Bay area on 20th November 2007.
