Weather caused cancellation of American Airlines JFK flight into St. Kitts for two straight Sundays

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 30th, 2011 (CUOPM) - American Airlines flight from between St. Kitts and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport for the past two weekends were cancelled due to disturbed weather.

     

    American Airlines flight from New York to St. Kitts on Sunday 21st August was cancelled due to Tropical Storm Irene which caused the closure of the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport and on Sunday 28th August, the AA flight from New York to St. Kitts was also cancelled due to the closure of the JFK International Airport as a result of Hurricane Irene.

     

    Passengers booked on those flights were routed through Miami and San Juan.

     

    The American Airlines flight to Miami operated as scheduled.
