Leo Club of St. Kitts and Rock and Dirt makes presentation to the Newton Ground Primary School

St. Kitts (Basseterre) The Leo Club of St. Kitts in collaboration with local company Rock and Dirt presented the Newton Ground Primary School various sporting equipment worth approximately three thousand dollars on Friday 23rd November as one of the activities at the 19th annual Lions Mid Year Conference for Multiple District 60 at the St. Kitts Marriott Royal Beach Resort.
Equipment included netballs, netballs nets, footballs, cricket bats, cricket stumps with balls and batting helmets and gloves. The proud sponsors decided to combine their resources and assist the school after an appeal was made at the annual graduation earlier in the year from the sports department. A representative from the school Mr. Joseph expressed his gratitude and assured the sponsors that the equipment will aid the school in their ongoing pursuit for excellence in sports.
Both the Leo Club of St. Kitts and Rock and Dirt are considered valuable community partners of the Newton Ground Primary School and are committed to helping the school and students to effectively combine the athletic experience with the academic. ~~Adz:Right~~
