    The Technical Division of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College was discovered broken into
     

    ~~Adz:Left~~On Wednesday 5th December 2007 the Technical Division of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College was discovered broken into and a computer reported stolen. At about 1:00 am Wednesday morning, Police stopped and search Trevor Hector in the Greenlands area and found him with a computer which fits the description of the one missing from the college.  He was arrested on suspicion and will be formally charged with Building Breaking and Larceny.
     
    Police are also investigating a fire that occurred at the Eastern Campus of the Basseterre Senior High School on Tuesday 4th December 2007 during a PTA meeting. The wooden doors to the staff room and the Deputy Teacher’s room were set on fire. A few items were destroyed in the blaze. The parents and teachers assisted the Fire and Rescue Services to extinguish the fire.  Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
     
    The St. Peters Health Center was discovered broken into on Wednesday 5th December one television was reported stolen. 
     
    On Wednesday 5th December 2007 a supermarket at Parry’s Village, St. Peters was robbed by an armed assailant, and a sum of money stolen.
     
    On Wednesday 5th December 2007, members of the Drug Unit conducted operations in the Basseterre area, fourteen (14) persons and five (5) vehicles were stopped and searched for drugs, arms, ammunitions. A quantity of Cannabis was found in an abandoned house at Carty Alley, Newtown. One crack pipe along with three-dime bags and one black plastic containing Cannabis were also found while executing searches on several individuals.
     
    Police are also investigating a shooting incident that occurred on 6th December 2007 at George Street. Several shots were fired at motor car PA5377 which was driven by a Newtown resident while he was driving along George Street, he did not sustain any injuries, but the vehicle was damaged as a result.
     
    Investigations into these crimes are ongoing. Persons with information are asked to call the Criminal investigation Department at tel. 465-2241 ext. 220/230/236 or 707.
