Two Year Old Plunges Three Stories After Being Neglected by Caretaker

~~Adz:Left~~(Port-of-Spain) --- While no charges have been made investigations are currently ongoing concerning the 30 foot plunge of 2 year-old toddler Shania Small who was left unattended by her caregiver on Thursday.
Allegedly the 50 year old caretaker left the apartment which is located on George Street, Port-of-Spain on Monday to travel to Tobago and subsequently, the toddler was left in the care of a 14 year old student of the South East Government Secondary School as well as an 8 year old boy who is reportedly mentally retarded.
The call was made to Port-of-Spain police by 23 year old Joy Alexander and 16 year old Nataki Martinez who came to the rescue of the child who fell 30 feet from the window of the three storey apartment building unto the adjacent concrete ground.
Currently, the child is warded in stable condition at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex nursing a broken right leg, injuries to chin and forehead as well as swelling to the left side of the face.
