    Two arrested in connection with Spotlight Night Club shooting

    ~~Adz:Left~~{Charlestown; Nevis} Two persons have been arrested in connection with the shooting of Jessica Williams Rudolph Browne and Tayan Wilkin that took place yesterday morning at about 5:00 in Spotlight Nightclub’s yard, Bath Village.
     
    According to Inspector Andre Mitchell, the Police Prosecutor in Nevis and the incident’s investigating officer, Sergeant Alonzo Carty, Jessica was shot on her buttocks. Rudolph Browne was shot three times on the chest area and in the right hip area. Tayan Wilkin was shot on the right side of his body. Jessica was treated and discharged while Rudolph and Tayan are undergoing treatment at the Alexandra Hospital.
     
    According to Inspector Mitchell and Sergeant Carty, investigations are on going to establish the cause of the shooting incident. Throughout yesterday (Sunday) and today (Monday) the Press was not allowed into the hospital wards where the two shooting victims are admitted.
     
    It was difficult to establish whether the condition of the victims were stable or not.
     
    In another development, Charlestown Police have confirmed a fire incident in Bath village that took place this morning at 8:00.
     
    According to Police Prosecutor, Andre Mitchell, two children aged seven and nine set fire on a bedroom of the Charles’ residence in Bath Village. 
     
    According to preliminary reports, the children were at home and are alleged to have been playing with match sticks when fire lit the bedroom. The fire fighting officers responded promptly.
