    Beware of counterfeit US Currency

    Basseterre, St. Kitts:
    With the Christmas and Carnival season upon us, the Royals St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force in placing the Federation on alert with regards to the circulation of counterfeit US currency.
     
    SKNVibes spoke with the Head of the Police Force’s Public Relations Office, Inspector Cromwell Henry, who explained that the alert is meant for the general public, especially for business operators.
     
    “The Police wishes to advise the general public, businesses in particular, to be cautious when accepting US currency. 

    We further advise the public to ensure that these notes are authentic and beware of persons who are tendering these notes.  

    If you happen to come across currency which you suspect to be counterfeit, contact the nearest police station or police officer immediately and report your suspicion,” Inspector Henry said.   ~~Adz:Right~~
     
    He also explained that even though the advisory is relative to US currency, persons should also beware of counterfeit notes in the other currencies which circulate throughout the Federation.
