George Elliot charged for Indecently Assaulting and female juvenile
~~Adz:Left~~{Basseterre; St. Kitts} On Saturday 15th December 2007, police arrested and charged Neville Fahie of Newton Ground Village with the offences of Driving when not covered by Insurance and for Driving without the appropriate License. He was also arrested and charged with the offences of Indecent and Insulting Language committed on 15th December 2007.
George Elliot of Caunt Street, Newtown, was arrested and charged on Saturday 15th December 2007 for Indecently Assaulting and female juvenile.
On Sunday 16th December 2007, Quincy Duncan of Caunt Street, Newtown, was arrested charged for Possession of Cannabis committed on 16th December 2007.
Waheed Ajibbla of Nigeria, but residing at Mattingley Heights was arrested and charged with the offences of Uttering Counterfeit United States Currency and Unlawful Possession of Counterfeit US Currency committed on 13th December 2007. The public is asked to be cautious when accepting currency notes, and to contact the nearest Police Station if you have doubts about the authenticity of notes tendered.
All persons charged will appear before the court shortly.
DRUGS FOUND
On Sunday 16th December 2007, Police uprooted 75 marijuana plants in the Tabernacle area. The plants ranged in height from seedlings to 14 inches.
SHOOTING
The police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Conaree on Friday 14th December 2007, where a lone gunman shot at a young man. He was able to escape unharmed.
Investigations are ongoing.
