TDC launches new and improved web site

 Basseterre, St.Kitts: A new and improved website which presents the world an opportunity to access goods and services offered by the TDC Group of Companies Limited was officially launched and released onto the World Wide Web on Friday.
The official ceremony to launch the site www.tdclimited.com was held at the Ocean Terrace Inn (OTI) and was attended by representatives of the TDC team, representatives of the creators of the website, eBizz Business Solutions Inc. “SKNVibes.com” and local media.
The new website encompasses all departments and subsidiaries of the TDC Group and enables existing and prospective customers to “walk” through TDC’s Departments and gain unbridled access to information about any of the thousands of products and services which the company offers.

Coordinator of the project Patricia Williams of TDC’s Client Relations and Marketing Department described the new website as “comprehensive, engaging, eye-opening and educational” and noted that this is but the first phase of the project.
“For companies such as TDC the value of the internet is not only confined to sales and marketing. For many companies the powerful tools provided by the internet have become a key factor in their ability to ward off competition. …This project represents Phase 1 of the Client Relations and Marketing Department’s initiative to introduce a new approach to online marketing through effective use of TDC’s website. Later phases will allow actual sales to be concluded online.
The website will be updated on a regular basis and we at TDC will be looking for more imaginative ways to continue peoples’ interest in accessing the products and services offered by this great company,” she stated.

eBizz’s Chief Financial Officer, Stachio Williams also spoke at the event and explained that the eBizz team invested much work into the user friendly product, a product which is “in keeping with international business standards”.
“The TDC Group of Companies has engaged our company eBizz Business Solutions Inc. more commonly known as SKNVibes.com in a project which has much foresight; a project which is very forward looking and in keeping with international standards of business today. … TDC launched a website previous and that was just the first step in the right direction.
Initially, we aim to provide the public with information about the departments, staffing and services but this new website is about to take it to another level persons can browse through each department especially those departments like Home and Building Depot, TDC Business Equipment, Automotive Department and the City Drug Store.
At the website, persons would be able to look at items, descriptions, photos, very vibrant details of each item and get a good understand of what TDC has to offer in each of those departments,” Williams noted. ~~Adz:Right~~
Nick Menon, TDC’s Marketing Director, who delivered the “feature” address, said that the new and improved website is one of the business’ tools used to effectively compete in the market.
“In terms of TDC, we are on a new wave, a new quest, a new mission. We’ve seen a lot of competition come up both internationally, locally and more recently, regionally and what we need to do it to improve ourselves, recreate ourselves and move ourselves to another level. The level we are hoping to take everything to is a new level of service, a new level of quality. We are in a technological age. We’ve had a web site. Everybody has websites.
It’s another cost for business unless you get a return, unless you get traffic, unless you inspire people and that’s what we are aiming to do here; inspire people to visit TDC via our website, to look at our products and services and be able to differentiate ourselves from as TDC from the competition. I think we have the product to do that,” the TDC Director said.
