    Car crashes into City Drug Store wall

    (Basseterre, St Kitts):  An elderly man who suffers from an unknown sickness is lucky to have escaped a minor collision after driving unto the side walk and ramming into the City Drug Store structure on Central Street, Basseterre.
     
    The accident occurred on Central Street just outside the City Drug Store when Bysie Laplace, who drives P8660, was apparently trying to reverse when his illness overcame him. As a result, he accidentally stepped on the gas peddle and accelerated backwards into the pharmacy’s wall.
     
    The car also collided with PA 3493 which was parked along side the road.
     
    Laplace’s vehicle sustained damages to the left rare side and the front right side while the other car, PA3493, got damages to the left front side.
     

    Laplace was taken to the hospital by the ambulance where he was treated and discharged.
