Young man dies in motor accident

Charlestown, Nevis: A motor accident claimed the life of twenty one year old Devin Liburd, a resident of Morning Star late last evening, Tuesday, December 18th.
According to a preliminary report by the Gingerland Police station, Devin was travelling from Gingerland towards Charlestown, in a motorcar, when he was involved in a head-on collision with a Jeep, driven by Jacklyn Dore.
The accident occurred at Pond Hill near the Community Centre on the Island Main Road.
Police confirmed that the ambulance was at the scene of the accident promptly. They also confirmed that there was a doctor at the scene of the accident.
According to Dr. Kingsley Okolie, the Doctor on Duty at the Alexandra Hospital at the time of the accident, Devin was already dead by the time he arrived at the hospital. ~~Adz:Right~~
Before he met his death, Devin was an employee at Four Seasons Resort.
Dr Okolie, who attended to Jacklyn, said as per last night, her condition was stable. Investigations to establish the cause of the accident are ongoing.
