    Another Carty Alley shooting! Man shot multiple times

    ~~Adz:Left~~ Basseterre, St. Kitts:
    Patrick “Junka” James, a 44 year old man from the Carty Alley area in Newtown, is presently nursing gunshot wounds at the Joseph N France General Hospital after he was attacked by two masked assailants on Wednesday morning, December 26th, just minutes before the commencement of the J’Ouvert jam  for Carnival.
     
    According to a Police press release, “Junka” was shot several times in the chest as he exited a shop in the area.
     
    A motive for the shooting is yet to be determined by the Police.
     
    The shooting incident comes amidst heightened efforts by the Police and other Security Forces to clamp down on criminals, in order to make a serious indentation into the occurrence of incidents of crime and violence in the Federation.
     
    The heightened security measures also come as the island is having its usual Carnival celebrations.
     
    The Police continue to implore the general public to cooperate with them in bringing the criminals to justice.
