    Basseterre, St. Kitts:
The vigilance of members of the Security Forces has once again paid dividends as another hand gun and ammunition were confiscated on Boxing Day, December 26th, in the Conaree area.

The weapon, a .380 pistol,  and six rounds of ammunition were confiscated from Danny “Peeky” Isaac, a Conaree resident.

According to a Police Press release, soldiers of the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force were making a routine patrol through the Conaree area when they detected some suspicious behaviour from Isaac.

The soldiers then began to pursue Isaac to determine the reason for his suspicious behaviour. During the chase, the young man tried to discard the weapon and ammunition but they were recovered by the soldiers.
