Police Press Release
    Peter Adams and Okekunle Ayodele arrested and charged for the offence of "Forgery"
     

    ~~Adz:Left~~{Basseterre; St .Kitts} On 28th December 2007, Police arrested and charged Alfred Heyliger of Sprott Street for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply, committed on 28/12/2007.
     
    On 28th December 2007, Police also arrested and charged Steadroy Scott of Cayon for Carrying abroad an offensive weapon and disorderly conduct by making noise, committed on 27/12/2007.
     
    On 28th December 2007, Police in Nevis arrested and charged Peter Adams and Okekunle Ayodele of Hard Times Gingerland for the offence of Forgery committed on 24/12/2007 at the Vance Amory Airport. Both men were remanded to prison and will appear in court shortly.
     
    SEARCH WARRANTS EXECUTED
    The Security Forces on 29th December 2007 executed search warrants on a number of premises at West Street, Newtown for controlled drugs, arms and ammunitions. A quantity of vegetable material suspected to be cannabis was found at the home of Keithroy Degrasse, the suspected drugs was seized, and Degrasse was arrested and charged for possession of cannabis and possession with intent to supply.
     
    On 30th December 2007 Police executed a search warrant on the premises of Junior and Livingston Matthew of Saddlers Housing Project for controlled drugs, arms and ammunitions. A quantity of Vegetable material suspected to be cannabis and four (4) shotgun cartridges were found and taken into custody. Junior Matthew was also taken into custody, and will be charged shortly
     
    STOP AND SEARCHES
    On 29th December 2007, Police stopped and search ten (10) persons in the Newtown area on suspicion of having controlled drugs, arms and ammunition. Nothing illegal was found, but one person was arrested on suspicion of shooting with intent.
