The front of the bus was badly damaged and a wrecker was summoned to remove it.
Driver and owner of the taxi, Michael Gardiner told SKNVibes that the bus was leaving Station Street following a visit to Caribbelle Batik.
“I was driving down Station Street and I realize when I pulled for brakes nothing happened,” he said. “I tried to control it as much as possible but it didn’t work.”
