Julian Matthew convicted for four (4) offences
~~Adz:Left~~ Basseterre, St. Kitts: On Thursday 24th January 2008, Julian Matthew of Bath Village, Nevis, who was arrested and charged for the offences of (1) Driving without Insurance. (2) Driving without a valid driver’s license. (3) Taking a vehicle without the consent of the owner and (4) Reckless driving, was convicted and fined as follows:
1. For the offence of Driving without Insurance, he was convicted and fined five-hundred dollars ($500) to be paid in two months or fourteen days in prison.
2. For the offence of Driving without a valid driver’s license, he was convicted and disqualified from holding or obtaining a driver’s license for three months in addition to been fined two-hundred dollars ($200.00) to be paid in two months or fourteen days in prison for the same offence.
3. He was convicted and fined one-hundred dollars ($100.00) to be paid in two months or fourteen days in prison for the offence of Taking a vehicle without the consent of its owner. Matthew was also convicted and cautioned for the offence of Reckless driving.
