BASSETERRE,St. Kitts: BRUCE Coker of Challengers Village has been described by many as “lucky” to have escaped without a scratch in a one-vehicle traffic accident.

The incident, according to Inspector Venetta Wyatt, Head of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force’s Traffic Department, occurred at about 7:00 this morning on the island’s main road in Buckleys.

She explained that while Coker was driving motorcar PA1009 in the vicinity of Carib Breweries, the vehicle ran off the road and collided with a fence at the mountain side of the road. The vehicle, owned by Fulton Bakery, landed on the brick fence and came to a standstill between a stop sign and a utility post.

The Inspector told SKNVibes that Coker emerged unscathed from the partly-damaged vehicle.

    The matter is being investigated.
